Mike "Brillo" Miller Sportspark:
This is a new million dollar facility with 3 well manicured softball fields with lighting and one baseball diamond (which is used by the University of Tennessee). There are several soccer fields available, a playground for youngsters, and a covered picnic area. There is also a designated area for carnivals and circuses. Also located in the Rockwood area are several tennis courts and a swimming pool with lifeguard. An indoor basketball facility can be found at the Rockwood Community Center.
Rockwood High School Athletics
Football - played on Civitan Field. Seating 3,500. Modern field lighting. Good dressing room facilities. Weight rooms, modern press box and concession stands. Adequate parking available.
Basketball - played in a new gym. Modern, well-lighted. Adequate parking available.
Baseball and Softball - played in the recreational park in lighted Brickyard Springs Park. Little League field at Ridgeview Elementary School.
Golf - both boys' and girls' teams play at the Rockwood Golf Course.
Rockwood Skateboard Park
A city street style skateboard park is available on Gateway Avenue next to the tennis courts.
