TESTIMONIALS:

"Rockwood is a small airport with great service! I tied down for one night and had my tanks topped off. Was greeted at the pumps with a smile, offer to call for a rental car, and just good old general southern hospitality. Convenient to my stay in Lenoir City, just west of Knoxville. Distance about the same as TYS but I'll definitely stay here whenever I'm visiting the area."

"FIVE STARS on the small airport scale. Staff, facility, fuel value are all outstanding. Stopped there on outbound and return from Oshkosh. When our piston single rolled onto the ramp, the airport manager was already outside waiting to offer us a friendly greeting, cold beverages, and assistance with the pumps, and stayed to assist us for the duration of our stop there. The facility is clean, comfortable and complete with pilot lounge, weather terminal, and waiting area decorated with some antiques and classic aviation memorabilia. They take considerable pride in their operation, and it shows. For a busy airport, this would an outstanding FBO. For one as quiet as RKW, it is extraordinary."
